National Academy of Athletics Expand their Youth Sports Programs to communities in San Jose.
Santa Rosa, California- The City of San Jose uses BidSync to screen, review and approve vendors. The City of San José is committed to open and honest government and strives to consistently meet the community’s expectations by providing excellent service, in a positive and timely manner, and in the full view of the public. By completing the application process and getting approved, vendors receive the opportunity to contract with the Recreation Centers within the City of San Jose.
As of February 2019, National Academy of Athletics completed the intensive process of becoming an approved vendor within the City of San Jose. The City Recreational Centers now have the opportunity to contract with the National Academy of Athletics to provide youth sports camps, clinics and leagues to the individual communities they serve.
The National Academy of Athletics has begun the process of reaching out to each Recreation Center to develop win-win relationships to assist with enhancing the youth sports programs being offered in the San Jose communities. Several Recreational centers have already expressed interest in working with the National Academy of Athletics.
The NAofA offers flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, Lacrosse, baseball/softball, flag rugby and an “all sports” program for kids that haven’t yet decided on their favorite sports or who just enjoy many and can’t decide. Aaron’s background includes 31 years in the athletics industry, working with several professional organizations: Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, San Francisco Giants and the Oakland A’s. Highlighted is his basketball training work with retired NCAA legend John Wooden. He has run programs for Pat Riley, Don Nelson, George Karl, Dusty Baker, Mike Dunleavy as well and hosted the Hall of Fame Rick Barry’s Basketball Fantasy Camp.
